Boom Lake

It felt like another Herculean effort to get out to the mountains.  I watched Black Swan (Natalie Portman - love her acting) the rainy weekend before.  I knew it was a dark movie, but it came highly recommended by Rob C, and I like dark, meaningful films.  Little did I know just how twisted it was, and that Lyme and its treatment puts one in a fragile emotional state (this last fact I found out later in talking to Jen and Sarah, who both said they are limited to watching cute animated films now).  As a result I couldn't sleep that night due to the crazy images from the film that kept popping into my head, nor did I sleep well all the next week.  It was like having post traumatic stress syndrome.  Finally the weather cleared and I was desperate for the mountains.
